Has Anyone Become Rich Gambling
I’m going to give you the secret answer to gambling riches. I have to warn you before I give it to you, though, because you aren’t going to like it.
I read a great deal of success and improvement information, including books and articles. I’ve read everything from the worst get rich quick schemes to the most popular books of all time on the subject. I also read a large amount of content about gambling.
Best Answer: Yes, lots of people. Most of them are poker players though. Ever hear of the World Series of Poker? The winner got something like $8 million. After that, most people who got 'rich' in Vegas won a huge jackpot on a slot machine. The Wheel of Fortune machine is over $1,000,000. In other words, Freemasons become rich in exactly the same way as anyone else does. Columbia is still re-building its country because gambling and betting has taken such a harsh toll.
It seems like everyone is looking for an inside secret or a hack to take a shortcut to success, riches, or gambling profits. This is why so many people spend money on products from gurus and system sellers who promise riches and success with little or no work.
What I’ve learned, and what many others have learned, is that you can have success in any area of your life, including making money gambling, if you’re willing to work to get it.
I told you that you weren’t going to like it.
But this also means something great. It means that anyone can become a winning gambler. All you have to do is decide that’s what you really want to do and then put in the correct amount of work. This means that the only thing standing between you and gambling riches is you.
Here’s a step by step guide for your first 30 days. If you want to create gambling profits, you need to dedicate some time every day to learning what you need to know. You can start with an hour a day, but you can reach your goals faster if you spend more time doing what you need to do.
After you follow the 30-day plan, you need to continue working every day. Spend at least an hour daily reading, learning, and practicing, and before you know it, you’re going to be a winning gambler.
Day 1
On day one, start researching gambling activities that offer a realistic way to make a profit. If you want to be a profitable gambler, you can’t focus on what you like or want to play. Focus on finding a gambling activity that can be profitable and that you can do.
While there are a few other options, the best activities to consider are:
Your goal for the first day is simply to gather information about possibilities and try to get a feel for your ability to learn how to make them work.
Day 2
On the second day, pick one gambling activity to specialize in. You might be tempted to try to use two different gambling methods, but if you want to start winning in 30 days or less, you must specialize. Don’t worry about how you’re going to get everything done; just pick one to get started.
Day 3
Now that you know what gambling activity you’re going to use, it’s time to set up a schedule and make a 100% commitment to following through.
Write down the time each day you’re going to dedicate to making this work, even if it’s not the same time each day. Then list exactly what you’re going to do each day. You can use the rest of this page to help you form your perfect plan.
Once you have the plan in place, the only thing that can stop you from success is not following the plan. This is why it’s so important that you’re 100% committed to this.
Day 4
On day four, your job is to figure out what you don’t know. You should already have a good start on this from researching the available options. You need to make a list of what you already know and what you need to learn more about so that you can start studying what you’re not as familiar with.
You decide that you’re going to concentrate on beating blackjack. You know how to play, but you don’t know how much each rule changes the odds, and you don’t know how to count cards.
Now you know that you need to learn more about each specific blackjack rule, and you need to learn more about how card counting works.
Day 5
On day five, you make a list of resources you’re going to use. These resources can include:
- Books
- Videos
- Articles
- Software
Some of the things on your list are free to access online, while others will require an investment.
Spend some time researching to find the best resources. Search for the best books and web sites on your chosen topic. Look for a list of top learning videos available.
When you find good books that you need to invest in, look on popular sites like Amazon and eBay to see if they’re available used. You can access free videos on YouTube.
You don’t have to spend a ton of money to acquire the resources you need. The internet has so much information that if you know how to sift through all the garbage, you can find almost anything you need to know for free.
You can find lists of great books about blackjack and poker, but everything you need is available online. I enjoy books, so I tend to get books first and then fill in the blanks with online searching, but you don’t have to do it this way.
Day 6
Today, order the most important books you need and get started with the free online resources you found yesterday. Become a student of your chosen gambling activity and start devouring as much as possible every day.
You’re going to continue expanding your knowledge for at least the rest of the month. If you want to maximize your long-term gambling profits, you’re going to be studying, learning, and practicing for the rest of your life.
It helps if you enjoy the process, but you don’t have to like it to become a winning gambler. All you have to do is develop a plan and stick to it.
I find it helpful to keep a journal or notebook while I’m learning a new game. I keep it with me and write down important things I learn. When I find a good resource online, I often print it out and put it in my notebook.
When you start keeping notes of important things you learn, you can go over all of your past notes at least once a week to help you remember everything you need.
Day 7
Continue devouring as much information as you can on day seven. By now, you know everything you need to learn and have found all of the resources you need. Make a detailed plan for the rest of the 30-day process to make sure you make enough progress every day to reach your goal.
The truth is that in 30 days, even if you spend just an hour or two every day, you spend between 30 and 60 hours learning and improving. This is enough time to completely change your results.
Different gambling activities take different amounts of time to master, and everyone starts at a different place. Some things are going to take hundreds or thousands of hours to master, but consistent daily progress is all it takes to reach your winning goal.
Day 8
Starting with the second week, you’re going to add another dimension to your plan. You need to continue reading, watching, and learning every day, but it’s time to start getting some practice in as well.
The type of practice depends on your chosen gambling activity. Here are a few guidelines.
- Blackjack – Sign up for a free online account at one of the online casinos we’ve recommended. You can’t count cards to win online, but you can use it to practice.
- Poker – Sign up for an account at an online poker room and start playing at the free tables.
- Sports betting – Start evaluating games and bet them on paper and track your results. You can find lines listed several places online.
- Horse or dog racing – Find upcoming races listed online and start handicapping them on paper. You can sign up at an online horse racing betting site and have access to races from all around the world.
- Esports or daily fantasy sports – Just like sports betting, start evaluating upcoming events and bet them on paper.
Day 9
The theme for the rest of the month is to continue making incremental improvements every day. Keep taking in as much information as possible and try to learn something from every practice bet you make.
You need to track everything you do so that you can start looking for actionable tendencies. Don’t fall for the trap of thinking that just because you won, you did everything right, or just because you lost, you did something wrong.
Sometimes you do everything right and still lose. This is true in just about any gambling activity you can think of. You can make a big bet at the blackjack table when the count is in your favor and still lose. You can get all of your money in at the poker table with the best of it and still lose.
The key is learning enough so that you can start recognizing your mistakes on every decision and bet. Once you reach this level, you can work on minimizing your mistakes. Every mistake you eliminate will result in more long-term profit.
Day 10
Only a small percentage of people who read this article are going to start the 30-day plan. Of the few that start the plan, only a small percentage of them are going to make it this far. Most people are simply going to give up before they get to day 10.
If you’re one of the few who actually follow through and have reached day 10, congratulations, the only thing standing between you and becoming a profitable gambler is sticking with your plan.
The rest of the month is more of the same. Every day is summed up in the next section, and then I give you a simple example to follow.
Day 11 to Day 30
For the remaining 20 days, continue spending an hour or two each day studying and practicing. By the end of the 30-day challenge, you should be ready to start gambling for real money and have a realistic chance to do it profitably.
Start with small wagers far below your bankroll so that you don’t lose too much if things don’t work as quickly as you hope. Even when you gamble with a long-term edge, sometimes you’re going to have to survive through downswings.
Make sure you have a large enough bankroll to keep playing long enough for your new skills to start making a profit. You also might need some time to adjust to live play. Study and practice can only take you so far. When you start putting real money on the line in a live environment, there might be a period of adjustment.
A Step by Step Example
Does Anyone Get Rich Gambling
Here’s an example using blackjack. If you decide to play poker or one of the other gambling options listed above, you can simply replicate this example using your chosen activity.
After deciding to play blackjack for profit, you make a list of what you know and don’t know. You know how to play and know what most of the rules are, but you aren’t sure exactly how a few things work in the casino.
This means that the things you need to learn about in the next 30 days are:
Has Anyone Become Rich Gambling Game
- Rules and how they change the house edge
- How to play using perfect basic strategy
- How to pick the best card counting system
- How to use your chosen system
- How to count cards in the casino without getting barred
You do a search in Google for things like:
- Best blackjack books
- Blackjack rules and the house edge
- Best blackjack card counting systems
- How to count cards without getting caught
You find several good websites and a list of good books that are recommended at several places. You order the books and start spending at least an hour every day reading about the rules and how they change the house edge.
By the time the books arrive, you know about all of the rules and what kind of rules you need to look for when you start playing live. Over the next several days, you continue reading good online articles about blackjack and read through the books you ordered.
You start learning basic strategy and practice using it at a free online casino. You work on it every day until you memorize it 100%. This might seem difficult at first, but most people pick it up quickly once they start practicing every day.
During your reading and study, you determine that the hi-lo card counting system is the best one for you to use, so you start practicing with it. You find out about card counting indices while you’re reading, so you research them online and order one more book that includes all of the proper plays.
You use decks of cards to practice your counting skills at home, and then start counting using software and/or free online play. You’ve learned about how to camouflage your play in a couple of your books and in articles, so you have a good chance to count without being caught.
At this point, you might not have all of the adjustments to basic strategy of the hi-lo system required for optimal play memorized, but you have the most important ones down. You can keep learning the rest after you start playing.
You take your first trip to the casino and put your new skills to the test.
This isn’t a page designed to teach you how to play blackjack, but I’ll give you a couple books that every blackjack player should read to get you started.
- Blackbelt in Blackjack by Arnold Snyder
- Beat the Dealer by Edward Thorp
- Professional Blackjack by Stanford Wong
If you want to play poker, here are a few suggestions.
- The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky
- Low Limit Holdem by Lee Jones
- Almost any poker book by 2+2 Publishing
The other gambling choices I mentioned above are a bit more challenging to find good books on. Sports betting strategies change from sport to sport and season to season, and you can’t find a step by step guide to winning. But you can find information that helps you develop your skills and create your own winning abilities.
Horse and dog racing are similar, but a few decent books exist about horse racing. Most of the dog racing literature is older, and I haven’t found much worth buying for today’s track. Instead of investing in books for these activities, spend time learning about what all of the available statistics mean and watching races to see how the results compare to the past statistics.
You won’t find much information about esports betting and daily fantasy sports, so you need to use the same strategies for learning them that sports bettors use.
Conclusion
The secret answer to gambling riches isn’t really a secret. All you need is to have a solid plan and mix in a great deal of work. You can use this 30-day plan to turn your fortunes around. Simply follow the steps, and in 30 days, you have a realistic chance to start winning.
Unless you already have experience with one of the other gambling choices, I suggest starting with either blackjack or poker. Both games have a large number of good books and articles available. They each also have specific strategies you can use to increase your chances of winning.
Don’t waste more time; make a decision to start winning, plan out your next 30 days using the advice listed above, and follow-through. The only things standing between you and gambling profits are 30 days and a little bit of work.

I have won oooo from my single and turn over but at the end of the day..they still have the upper hand as all I tend to win can vanish in a twinkle of an eye... greenhealthng: *Please note I am an advocate of responsible gambling. And I always tell people, ONLY BET THE MONEY YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. The kind of money for other entertainment you can choose to forgo. When you bet, you don't expect something back* Well, I have been doing sport betting since 2010. I have lost a lot and I have won a few. I was the kind of person who bet N200 in other to win 50k. Yes, I did win a few but if we are to do a profit and loss statement, I have lost more than I have won. You will forever be losing if you play accumulators (e.g, only Dortmund spoil my 50k ticket). The more the number of games, the more your chances of losing. That is the kind of games the bookmakers want. They tell you about the 0.0000001% who has won 5M with N100, because they want you to be greedy. You say you want to be rich through it, that is the kind of mindset that excites the bookmakers. And I will rather be winning N200 per day, than losing N200 per day. My current stategy is simple. I haven't had a loss so far but it is inevitable and will come. But even if it does, I know I will still have profit in the long run. I have a list of my favorite leagues where favorites win most times (e.g Portugal, Czech, Italy, Northern Ireland, Croatia etc.). I avoid the English league like a plague. - Every week, I select a treble. Just 3 teams I expect to win most. It doesn't matter if the total odds is 1.5 or 2.6. Experience has thought me never to get greedy in these scenarios. - I have betting accounts in some countries, as well as local bank accounts. So I find my bookmaker with the best odds for the treble, then fund the account. - I play the bets as a system betting (2/3). This reduces the odds and my profits, but it also reduces my risk. - I play with maximum 100 euros, or the equivalent in the local currency of chosen bookmaker. No more than 100 euros. There are three possible scenarios. LOSE 100euros (2 losses), Lose 30-50 euros (1 loss) or gain 50-100 euros (3 wins). Selecting just three of my best teams a week helps me to reduce the risk of losing. 3 Likes |
