The Black Ghosts became one of my favourite groups after I heard 'Anyway You Choose To Give It'. Theo Keating and Simon William Lord are a duo that have almost perfectly merged their eclectic music tastes. Their strange, but gripping take on pop music fuses with an electronic sound to produce an eerie and resounding kind of track, one that sticks in your memory for years after you've first heard it. When they performed at Bestival in the UK in 2008 (one of their last concerts) the crowd seemed mesmerized by the performance. Simon and Theo often incorporate guest vocals into their music, but this performance was just the two of them, showcasing some of their most influential tracks. 'Anyway You Choose To Give It' makes you jump like a crazed monkey, 'Full Moon' entrances you for the full 3 minutes 51 seconds, and when they played 'Some Way Through This', I felt like the set couldn't have reached a more perfect pinnacle. These two are really giving it their all on stage, and given their rather unconventional beginning (having met on the Internet and collaborated before meeting in person), they have come incredibly far from their humble and eccentric beginnings in early 2006. I couldn't help but become hypnotized by the trance-like songs they showcased, and with The Black Ghosts, you always have to worry about becoming enthralled by the music.

Nov 18, 2019 Ghost was phenomenal, I've always loved the band and their general presence, look, and sound, and that is all amped up 110% live, this concert was the most fun I've had in a long time and papa emeritus is so, so good to the fans and crowd, everyone on stage is very animated and they just make the show a true spectacle.
